Nature-inspired interiors in rich earth colours grace the rooms and cabins at Moraine Lake Lodge. 

All its cabins and rooms offer custom-designed, hand-crafted log furniture and true Canadian Rocky Mountain comfort.

They include luxurious down duvets, fine Woolrich blankets and pillows, plus beautifully appointed bathrooms with deep soaker tubs.

2. There are no Telephones or televisions in any of its Rooms

In keeping with the mountain getaway experience, there are no telephones or televisions in any of its rooms.

Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property and a telephone is available in the lodge.

It was designed without telephones and tv because it is important to have a place without the intrusion of telephones and TV.  

There is also no smoking in the lodge and any of the rooms. However, if guests do smoke, they are allowed to do so away from the cabins, entrances, windows and the main Lodge.

3. The Lodge is Self-Sufficient and Generates its Power

Working in harmony with nature, the luxurious Lodge is almost self-sufficient in all aspects. 

Starting with when one turns on the tap, they experience some of the freshest water in the world as it comes directly from an alpine mountain well.

The lodge also generates its power and all waste is safely transported out of the area. We attempt to reduce, re-use, and recycle wherever possible to protect our precious landscape. 

4. It is Small and hence cannot Host Weddings or Group Events

Moraine Lake Lodge is a small property and hence does not have private facilities for hosting weddings, receptions or group events. 

This is one of its few disadvantages and makes the lodge one of the few places where many people travel to. 

As a single property, the lodge does not also offer shuttle services or transportation to/from the Lodge, hence one needs to arrange for their transportation. 

5.Its accommodation rooms and cabins are stunningly unique

The rooms and luxury cabins in the lodge are stunningly unique. One can see the best of nature from onside their rooms which are fixed with glasses.

One can also feel the crisp mountain air which can take away their breath, where the majestic Valley of the Ten Peaks descends to the iridescent blue waters of the serene lake.

6.There are different cabins in the lodge rooms 

The Moraine lake lodge offers different types of cabins including; The Deluxe King Cabins which features one king size bed, a sunken seating area surrounding a river rock wood-burning fireplace and a private balcony facing the lake and mountains.

The lodge offers Deluxe Twin Cabins which features two twin beds,Wenkchemna Wing Rooms which offers one queen size bed, Lodge Double Rooms which offers two double beds and a large private balcony with outstanding views. 

They also have Lodge King Rooms which are are located on the upper floor of the Main Lodge and offers one king bed, an antique gas fireplace and a large walkout balcony with outstanding views. 

Lastly they have the premier room located on the upper floor of the Main Lodge, with one king bed and a luxurious bathroom, reflects true Canadian lodge heritage. 

7.One night room and taxes deposits are required upon booking 

Upon booking into the lodge , a one-night room and taxes deposit are required . A written notice of cancellation must also  be received by Moraine Lake Lodge 30 days prior to arrival.

All cancellations are subject to a $50.00 administrative fee. Cancellations received within 30 days of arrival will be held as a credit for one year at Moraine Lake Lodge.

8.Foods available at the lodge are prepared in a very special way

At the Moraine lake lodge very special food is cooked for guests. The lodge has some of the best cooks and they prepare their food using natural ingredients. 

Very good, prepared with local suppliers in season food is also avaolable. The lodge also has good selection of menu items and its Daily specials are very tough to beat. 

The dining experience here matches the quality of the lodge with an excellent stuffed chicken breast dish. They also serve regional wines in the Moraine lake lodge which is one of the best wines.

The lodge also has Canoes at their canoe docks and are available on a first-come first-basis (we do not take reservations). Each canoe can accommodate two to three people. Paddle, life jackets and basic instruction are provided.
