Summer is knocking and Paris is ready to open its doors to the world for a special treat. Paris is set to host a culinary week this August dubbed the Paris-Meets-French Polynesia Culinary Experience Week from August 7 – 11. 

This delightful experience is a collaboration between the St. Regis Bora Bora Resort, home of Lagoon by Jean-Georges restaurant. It is launching its new Culinary Experiences Series this summer with a one-of-a-kind partnership with award-winning talent from the Hôtel de Crillon in Paris.

The French Culinary Week is set to give visitors a taste and feel of food and drinks right at the heart of Paris. The experience will also fuse a part of the Borabora experience and will include; Complimentary daily breakfast, Wine tastings and consultations with Sommelier Xavier Thuizat and cooking classes with Chefs Campanella and Nguyen, Grand Soir evening at Lagoon by Jean-Georges restaurant featuring the Upside Down menu concept where the meal’s cuisine is designed by the chefs based on guests’ wine selections and welcome signature St. Regis Champagne Sabering.

The week running from August 7-11, 2023 Michelin Star Chef, Boris Campanella, and France’s leading Sommelier Xavier Thuizat, both of the Hôtel de Crillon in Paris, will join The St. Regis’ Chef Nicolas Nguyen for Paris-Meets-French Polynesia Culinary Experience Week. 

Foodies and wine enthusiasts alike are invited to indulge in unique culinary delights including the Upside Down Menu dining concept at the resort’s Lagoon by Jean-Georges restaurant, signature St. Regis Champagne sabering, intimate wine tastings and cooking classes, customised menus and a selection of fine wines curated personally by Xavier Thuizat, who was named 2022’s Best Sommelier in France.

If you have no plans for summer and are a foodie, this would be the ultimate plan for you to indulge in. According to the Luxury Travel magazine issue, rates for the Paris-Meets-French Polynesia Culinary Experience Week start at approximately USD 14,700 for six nights for two guests.
