Families travelling with kids between September 16 and November 30, 2024 will save up some money as the airline will be offering free child fares. The campaign by the SATA group targets flights between the nine islands of the Azores, Portugal.
According to a news statement by SATA, the campaign is ‘especially aimed at families who wish to travel between the cities of Porto and Lisbon, and the Azores archipelago, and between the Azores and Madeira.’ It is also meant to ‘encourage breaks outside high season to destinations especially sought after by passengers traveling with children.’
Regarding its application, SATA has clarified that adults will enjoy the free fare for a baby up to 23 months, and a child (24 months to 11 years). The fees inherent to the baby and/or child ticket are not covered by the campaign.
The offer will specifically apply to trips made between September 16 and November 30, 2024. The flights covered are only those operated by the SATA Air Acores and Azores Airlines. Flight tickets are available through any SATA Azores Airlines channel or travel agency.
