London Gatwick Airport Introduces 14 New Holiday Routes This Summer

London Gatwick Airport has unveiled an exciting expansion plan for the summer of 2024, adding 14 new holiday routes to its already extensive network. With this addition, travelers will now have access to a total of 223 destinations served by 56 airlines.

The new routes are set to appeal to a diverse range of travelers, from those seeking cultural city breaks to those looking for picturesque beach getaways. Notable among the new destinations is Gothenburg in Sweden, which will be operated by Norwegian four times a week. This route is expected to attract both leisure travelers and business commuters given Gothenburg’s status as a significant cultural and economic center.

Additionally, Skiathos in Greece, known for its stunning beaches and vibrant nightlife, will be serviced twice weekly by easyJet. This new route is anticipated to be highly popular among holidaymakers looking for a quintessential Mediterranean escape. For travelers planning their summer getaways, the newly added routes provide an excellent opportunity to explore new destinations.

Once at the airport, 95% of passengers on average fly through security in less than five minutes and can experience great retail and food and beverage offerings.
