Ryan Reynolds Declares Budapest the “Hawaii of Central Europe“

Budapest, Hungary’s capital, has become a favorite in the film world. Daily News Hungary reported that Ryan Reynolds, an actor known for his comedic charm just finished filming his new action movie Mayday in Budapest, Hungary. During his stay, Ryan Reynolds grew very fond of Budapest.

The movie Mayday started filming in Montreal and San Diego and finished in beautiful Budapest. Directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, known for big movies, it’s expected to be stunning. Stars like Kenneth Branagh and Maria Bakalova join Ryan Reynolds in leading roles.

In a social media post, Reynolds posed for a selfie in front of the Museum of Fine Arts, offering a tongue-in-cheek caption: “Loved every second working in Budapest. Many call it the ‘Hawaii of Central Europe’ and even though nobody calls it that, it’s warm, and beautiful and endlessly fascinating.”  He also added a Hungarian flag emoji for good measure.

His parting words were a mix of humor that delighted many but also left a few puzzled. The city, bestowed with the whimsical epithet “Hawaii of Central Europe”, radiates a charm and warmth that has endeared it to the cinematic world.
