Bad news for toddlers aged 2 to 5, their older brothers and sisters aged 5 to 12, and their parents: the Cité des Enfants, a must-see play area for the little ones, will close on June 23, 2024, for approximately a year, as will the Cité des Bébés, which has already closed.
In order to introduce many new features in spring 2025 and renovate the various areas that have already been in place for 31 years (yes, because the Cité des Sciences celebrated its 30th birthday at the end of 2022!), the Cité des Enfants has decided to close its areas to the general public in order to give itself a facelift in 2025.
The bad news is that the Cité des Enfants won’t be able to welcome its youngest visitors until June 2025. The good news is that you still have a month to explore the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie and its numerous exhibitions with your family! If you want to visit the site, we strongly advise you to book your tickets in advance, as each ticket provides you with 1 hour and 30 minutes of play and fun discoveries in the different play areas.
As of June 23, 2024, many of the facilities in this beautiful Cité des Sciences will remain open, including the Planetarium, kid-friendly exhibitions to discover with the whole family, projections in the Géode… Enjoy your visit!
