Matthew David McConaughey is an American actor who was born on November 4, 1969. In the coming-of-age comedy Dazed and Confused (1993), he had his breakthrough role as a supporting actor. After a string of supporting appearances, his breakthrough as a leading man came in the 1996 judicial thriller A Time to Kill. His career expanded with lead roles in Contact (1997), Amistad (1997), and U-571 (2000).

McConaughey relocated to Longview, Texas, in 1980 and graduated from Longview High School. He travelled to Australia in 1988, expecting to attend a high school in Sydney. Instead, he spent a year in Warnervale, New South Wales, where he attended Gorokan High School (as a Rotary Youth Exchange student) and worked as an attorney’s assistant and an ANZ bank teller. He went to the University of Texas at Austin (UT-Austin) and was a member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He began in the fall of 1989 and received his Bachelor of Science in Radio-Television-Film in the spring of 1993.

In 2006, McConaughey got to know Camila Alves. He proposed to Alves on December 25, 2011, and the couple wed on June 9, 2012, in Austin, Texas, where they now reside. They have three kids together.

Elijah Jordan Wood, an American actor and producer, was born on January 28, 1981. His most notable performances were Frodo Baggins in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012) and The Lord of the Rings film trilogy (2001–2003).

Below his waist on his right side, Wood has a tattoo of the Elvish Sindarin word “nine” in Tolkien’s created Tengwar script. It makes reference to him as a member of the Fellowship of the Ring. On the list of the “10 Best Hollywood Autograph Signers” published by Autograph Collector Magazine in May 2006, Wood came in at number seven.

In an act of kindness, Wood traveled to Curepto, Chile, on April 23, 2010, one of the towns severely damaged by the 8.8-magnitude earthquake that occurred on February 27, 2010. Along with Chile’s First Lady, Cecilia Morel, he personally visited several of the victims.

A boy was born in 2019 and a daughter was born in 2022 as a result of Wood’s relationship with Danish film producer Mette-Marie Kongsved. The household is based in Austin, Texas.

Roddick dated singer-actress Mandy Moore from 2003 to 2004. On April 17, 2009, the pair exchanged vows in Austin, Texas. The couple announced their first child’s impending arrival on May 2, 2015. On September 30, 2015, Brooklyn gave birth to their first child. Roddick and Decker revealed they were expecting their second child in July 2017. On November 27, 2017, Brooklyn gave birth to their daughter.

Richard Stuart Linklater, an American film director, producer, and screenwriter, was born on July 30, 1960. He is well recognized for making movies that mostly focus on suburban society and the impacts of time.

He has produced a number of comedies, such as Slacker (1990) and Dazed and Confused (1993); the romance films Before Sunrise (1995), Before Sunset (2004), and Before Midnight (2013); the comedy School of Rock (2003); the adult animated movies Waking Life (2001), A Scanner Darkly (2006), and Apollo 10 12: A Space Age Childhood (2022); the coming-of-age drama Boyhood (2014); and the comedy Everybody Wants Some!! (2016).

Linklater resides in Austin, Texas, and won’t spend much time living or working in Hollywood.
Since the 1990s, Linklater has collaborated with Christina Harrison. They welcomed a daughter in 1994 and twin girls in 2004. The oldest, Lorelei Linklater, co-starred as the title character’s sister in Boyhood.
